In Savannah’s Forsyth Park

May 11, 2013

In Savannah’s Forsyth Park
Vendors in white tents hawked
Fresh produce and other local fare

Young people tossed frisbees

Little boys and girls sped along the walkways on skateboards

Dogs were walked by proud owners

Beautiful women sunned themselves
Clad in brightly-colored bikinis

Amidst this slice of Saturday
Morning routine and leisure

Two guys donned armor
And went at each other
Game-of-Thrones style

  1. Ernie, this poem is beautiful and filled with evocative imagery. Thank you.
