Houdini’s Lesser Known Escapes…

July 10, 2013

I heard “Finger Traps” mentioned this morning. I instantly remembered this cartoon I did a couple of years ago. Harry Houdini was a huge influence on me in my younger days, leading me to practice slight-of-hand tricks and learn to use a makeshift pick to escape from a pair of handcuffs (bought at the Disneyland magic shop). Most of all, I learned his number one rule that he implemented in every escape he ever did – never panic. It’s a good motto for life too.

  1. How about a series called “What If” and Harry was doing a Doctor Who kind of thing in other dimensions.

  2. An interesting idea, my friend!
