(The other day, I read a post about the things bloggers should never do. One of “the things” was never post something so short that it can be read in its entirety within the WordPress Reader. No one will bother to click it because the post has already been read. While I get that, I have to ask–does this mean that those of us who routinely post in the succinct form of haiku are shooting ourselves in the footnote?)

I can’t answer that, but if a person clicks on the Like button in the Reader, doesn’t that blog get credit for a view?
