NaPoWriMo 2014

April is National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), and I’ve decided to participate again. Last year at this time, this blog was brand new, and I was too chicken to even sign up. I just did it. I succeeded in meeting the challenge of 30 poems in 30 days, and I wound up having a blast.

Of course, last year I was unemployed. This year, I have a full-time job, so it’ll be much more of a challenge. I won’t say that it’s going to be daunting, because if it’s going to be a labor, it’ll be one of, well, if not love, then extreme like.

So, as the days of spring-infested April go by, and nature gets all show offy and “HEY, LOOK AT ME!”—I invite you to stop by and see what I scribble.

  2. I once did NANOWRIMO, a few years back, and it was very satisfying to succeed. Best of luck with their poetry version!!

    • Thank you very much. Writing a novel, though—that’s very impressive. What a sense of accomplishment that must be!

      • I thought so at the time, but when I went back months later, it sounded to me to be written by a 5-year old! 🙂
