The Productive Vacationeer

September 25, 2014

The quilt my wife made during our four-day stay
in Park City, Utah.

Some people may read books during the lulls in sightseeing-related activities. Some may simply sit and enjoy the beautiful view and reflect in silence, whilst sipping an adult beverage.

My wife does not subscribe to any periodical dealing with that line of thinking.

During the breaks in between our excursions into, and around, Park City, my wife produced another quilt. It wouldn’t seem like vacation, if  the sound of her trusty Janome didn’t fill the room with its industrious chug-chugging chatter.

We rarely leave home without the Janome. I am so thankful we did
not have to haul an ironing board and iron along with us too—that
was supplied by Mr. Hilton.
